sheet aluminum (mirror surface), enameled cloth

This is an installation in which aluminum sheets with irregularly curved
mirror surfaces were placed in a straight line.
The location is a park on a hill near Narita International Airport and an area
where urban develoopment has not reached.
The local people have lived in the area since long ago and though there are
temples and ancient burial mounds in the area, there are few sings of life
except for the roaring sound of the airplanes flying low.
The work trembles in the strong wind that blows across the hill.
The shaking and the curved surfaces along with the movement of the viewer
cause the scenes reflected on the mirror surfaces to be in constant motion
  and change in various ways.
